Those same temps would be considered excessive in a desktop - the cpu temps more-so than the gpu ones.

Web24 Jul 2024 · But the CPU still gets to 87C sometimes.. i used to use ROG Gaming Center to boost the fan to the Max to get my CPU temp down to 80C even though not always as effective. Not sure what to use for CPU fan since that fan is as locked as the GPU one. Still a quick check in the bios wouldn't hurt.

The only problem most have with the way Asus has Opitmus enabled, there's no way to disable the option in the BIOS.
