WebI have a Volvo DPE stern drive with Volvo power trim 3860880 motor/pump. The Trim unit works OK when boat out of water and stationary in water (leg travels full length of clean piston rams) but when underway, the pump/motor makes a hammering noise when lowering leg – this noise does not occur when lifting the leg.
