WebNov 6, 2010 · Clutch engagement is way low at about 2000 RPM. It had an old blue spring in the primary clutch. I thought it might have gotten weak so I replaced it with a brand new blue spring. Engagement is still 2000 rpm. I have cleaned/checked the weights and "pins" and they seem fine. The rest of the clutch seems ok too. The weights are 10MB's. WebDec 22, 2024 · I’d say high doesn’t feel jerky because you’re on the gas quicker than maybe feathering the gas in low and reverse. Engagement is engagement. More gas the quicker the clutch engages and grabs the belt. More flyweight even out on the tip will help smooth out and lower engagement.
